We're excited to announce the first meetup of the Rust Tbilisi User Group on Saturday, November 18! This event will bring together Rust enthusiasts of all levels to network, share knowledge, and explore Rust in all of its glory.

Rust is a system programming language valued for its safety and performance. It's used in software infrastructure by companies like Mozilla and in embedded systems due to its reliable compile-time safety and efficiency. Rust is used in many different areas, ranging from OS development (it is only language approved by Linus Torvalds for Linux other than C), Microsoft also started replacing some components with Rust, webdev, crypto, distributed systems, AI, gamedev, embedded systems and networking as well.
