NATC Local Businesses Updates

September 25, 2018
Hello SchaOn!

SchaOn here with Natural Awakenings Magazine. One of the things that Natural Awakenings TC is dedicated to is helping to build small, local businesses. One of the ways we do this is by organizing a monthly "Lunch 'n Learn" event, normally the 4th Wednesday of each month from 11:30 AM to 1 PM.

This month's event on Wednesday 9/26 starting at 11:30 AM, is being hosted by Bhakti Wellness Center at 7550 France Ave S., Suite 220 in Edina, MN. The guest speaker Lindsay Ferris-Marin of Peck Avenue Social who will be sharing her social media expertise for small business owners. Candi will be bringing some snack items including sushi as well as sparkling water, though feel free to bring your own lunch as well.

As a small business advocate, Lindsay offers solutions for small businesses who know they need to be more engaging within the social media community but don't have the time or a large budget to be strategic with how they are engaging with their fan base. I personally had the pleasure of meeting Lindsay at a monthly MetroIBA Networking Event and we had an enlightening discussion about what Instagram is good for, and how service-based businesses, like my own personal one, can use Instagram - and why I personally want to consider it (due to the demographics of the users).

Happening next Month

The October Edition: "Chiropractic & Game Changers for Health" is off to the printers and will be getting delivered to stands around September 28th and 29th.

Now, while the September issue hasn't even hit stands yet, we need to start thinking about November. The theme for that month is "Immune System Boosters & Safe Drinking Water". Additionally, November normally marks the beginning of Expo Season in our Community! Some of the big ones are November 3-4th is the BMSE Minneapolis Expo (formerly owned by Edge Life Expos & Events), November 10th is the Your Shining Life Expo brought to you by NATC, and the Healthy Life Expo November 17th & 18th brought to you by MediaMax Events & Expos.

Now while this is a busy time of year for people... getting the word out about what YOU and your company are doing is vital. Are you having an Open House, a Small Business shopping event, or take some new training? Our readers want to know this! Let's get together (even on the phone), and we can talk about advertising options. There are many options, like the Small Business Package that starts at $149/mo and includes a tremendous amount of features (display ad, CRG listing, News Briefs, Calendar Listings, and a few other things) to help your business reach our readers and the local community, while also helping our magazine reach the people around the Twin Cities that are interested in a Greener, Healthier Planet.
Concerned about creating a display ad? We have someone that can do that for you!

Let's Get Together

Want to talk about your advertising options with Natural Awakenings? Feel free to drop me an email at [address removed] or give me a call at[masked].

Please keep in mind, we normally don't like to just email over the Marketing Packet as it does have a lot of options, and we want to make sure that you're getting the best options, and that it's clear with everything that is included so you get the most out of your ad package.

We can either talk over the phone, or preferably, let's meet for coffee or tea at a local, small business and go over things in person, while also helping to support one of the many fantastic local businesses we have here in the Twin Cities.

Make it a great day,

SchaOn
