Lightning-fast Spring Boot Startup: Unveiling the Power of CRaC

The recent release of Spring 3.2 had a bunch of great features, one of which is fast startup for Spring Boot. In this presentation, we’ll talk about CRaC which enables this on the JVM, and do some demos. Along the way we’ll discuss the auto snapshot option flag for Spring Boot, and taking manual checkpoints - and the differences between the two.

He wrote the first book on 'enterprise Java' in 1996, "Java Database Programming with JDBC" and “Developing Open Cloud Native Microservices”. An all around software and hardware enthusiast with experience in the travel, healthcare, telecom, financial services, and startup sectors.
