THE PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC is a landmark film that has left a lasting impact on cinema and storytelling. Directed by Carl Theodor Dreyer, this silent historical drama depicts the trial and execution of Joan of Arc (Renee Falconetti), a young French woman who claimed to have been guided by divine visions. Released in 1928, the movie stands as a masterpiece of film-making, known for its stark portrayal of emotions and innovative use of close-ups.
Composer Sarah was born in Seoul, South Korea then moved to the USA at the age of five. Over the years, he has garnered critical acclaim for his unique brand of electronic acoustic music bridging the normally discrete musical worlds of electronic, industrial and classical as well as Americana and folk music.
