New Year's Day Tradition REPEAT PERFORMANCE Film Noir Screening

Details
Hello everyone, happy holidays 2024. The TCM Classic Movie Fan Club has not disappeared, but Jono it's organizer for over 12 years has been busy with his regular career as a professional, freelance tour guide and also now serving as the president of a tour guide association which has consumed a fair amount of his free time.
To celebrate the end of this interesting 2024 year, your mostly fearless leader will again be hosting a viewing party of the New Year's themed 1947 film noir REPEAT PERFORMANCE at his own Los Feliz home on New Year's Day at 2pm (after the Rose Parade). So if you're not a big football fan feel free to come by. As usual, Jono will provide some starter party food, snacks, water, soft drinks and utensils, but hoping many of you can both contribute about $10 in cash to defer the cost of party supplies PLUS bring an entree, side dish, salad or dessert that does NOT require any type of preparation (please NO oven, stove or microwave). It's also great if you can bring a disposable serving dish and, of course, wine or other beverage to share.
If you have never seen REPEAT PERFORMANCE before, you will be enthralled. If you have seen it before, it will still be very enjoyable to see once again especially to ring in the new year. Jono first hosted a rare viewing of this then long out of circulation movie (from a European DVD copy some film buff captured from an early London TV airing) over 10 years ago which went viral to film buffs all over the internet. Then about 3 years ago the film thankfully was fully restored and is now available on a high quality Criterion DVD which we will screen.
On on Sunday afternoon there should be plenty of available street parking, but if you run into difficulty, you can alternatively park at the ground level parking of Barnsdall Park on the south side of Hollywood Blvd. near the traffic light then walk over.
Thank you for not giving up on our group! Hope you can attend.
