Annual Black Friday Adventure: Fort Worth Nature Center

Join us for the Annual Black Friday Adventure Paddle Trip. This is our annual trip to escape shopping and opt in to nature. Beginner friendly with rental boats available.

We will meet at the Fort Worth Nature Center at 10:00AM. (There is an entry fee of approx. $6, $3 for seniors, $1 for dogs, also military discount) We will meet at the Big River launch area, then paddle up to Eagle Mountain Lake Dam and back. On our return we will have a picnic lunch at the shaded area by the launch. After lunch those who wish can hike the trails in the preserve.

Rental boats (with vests and paddles) are available for $45 per person. $80 for a tandem. Click Here to Reserve

Bring: Picnic lunch, drink for in the boat, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, layered clothing (no cotton). A change of clothes in case of a capsize, and dry socks and shoes (you WILL get your feet wet).

PFD's required (provided with all rentals).

If there is bad weather we might move the paddle to Saturday.
