#2: PGP, Realtime communication and more
The second meeting in the TCP/IP Geek Stockholm Meetup.
Talks (excluding lightning talks):
• Introduction to PGP security, Andreas Olsson
This is the talk where you will learn what this talk about PGP keys is all about and how you create one of your own to be able to send secure e-mails and sign e-mails. (25 minutes)
• Introduction to IPv6, Olle E. Johansson IPv6 has been around for a long time and is the only way forward. It's considered a required part of any TCP/IP networking stack. (25 minutes)
• Break for a nice cup of tea (and possibly coffee) and the PGP Signing Party
• Tuning the Linux TCP/IP stack for realtime communications, Binan AL Halabi
Realtime communications is about sending a lot of small IP packets in a constant flow. To really get performance out of a system, you will need to fine-tune parameters. Binan explains why and how this can be done. (25 minutes)
After-meetup-mingle time!
Building the web of trust
• Add your keys in the discussion forum (https://www.meetup.com/TCPIP-geeks/messages/boards/thread/48619638). If you don't have a key yet, don't worry. The talk above will teach you what you need to create and use secure PGP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pretty_Good_Privacy) keys.
---
Eat something before we start. We'll have a break with coffee/tea (sponsored by Spotify) during the evening - with opportunities to mingle and get to learn fellow geeks.
