In The Moment TCS Improv Workshop at Our Space

The In The Moment TCS improv workshops are held at Our Space studio in Hatagaya from 7-9pm, and cost 1,000 yen. Please note there is a map to Our Space in Files under the More tab and that the red flag on the Google map is not correct!

We work on improv techniques, from character creation to scene work, songs and musicals. Classes are taught by TCS Director Chris Wells, an improv performer at the Tokyo Comedy Store since its founding in 1994.

These are open workshops, so any native-level English speaker is free to come and give it a try. Continued participation is of course at the discretion of the instructor- so be positive and nice to your fellow improvisors!

Every six weeks we have our Student Showcase, in which students with at least six workshops under their belts can get up on stage and try improv out in front of an invited audience of friends and family. It's a safe and fun environment in which to first experience improv!
