AgileHuman online meetup 6. The High-Performance Agile Team

Details

AgileHuman - THE HUMAN SIDE OF AGILE
We all know that many attempts at agile transformation fail. We also know that one of the main reasons for this is that consultants and organizations either underestimate the importance of culture and the human factor, or are aware of it, yet they are not able to complete the transformation well.

The following meetups are dedicated to the main topics related to the human side of agile. It is also an introductory series of events for the international AgileHumanCon unconference in September in Budapest.

Volunteer helpers and sponsors are welcome for both the unconference and the preparatory meetup series.

  1. HIGH-PERFORMANCE AGILE TEAM
There are tons of research about high-performance teams from the leader’s point of view: what can a leader do to optimize the performance of the team. But we have very few research from the self-organizing team’s point of view. What can a team do to optimize its own performance?
  • Where to gain inspiration from, if we have no leader?
  • How to resolve conflicts and increase team cooperation?
  • How to set stretch goals and make challenges to inspire all team members?
  • How to keep people focused on hard times?
  • How to build trust among team members?
  • How to keep ourselves motivated with a sense of purpose?
  • How to create a results-driven team culture?

These meetups are intended to be professional discussions to co-create knowledge. Participants are invited to bring their own cases, questions, and problems, to share their knowledge, to think together in an open dialogue. Creative solutions, games, and group coaching tools are welcome!

The language of the meetup is English.

VISUAL NOTE TAKING
There will be visual note-taking on the meetup performed by Csaba Fehér (www.fehercsaba.com). These notes can be followed during the meetup because Csaba’s camera will show the drawing in progress.
