Kayak Okeeheelee Park South

Please read entire description before rsvp. Kayak beautiful Okeeheelee Park South (Not North). Address is 7500 Forest Hill Blvd. You can put "Jim Brandon Equestrian Center" in GPS to make sure you enter on the South side not the north side. Enter from the south side of Forest Hill and go past the Equestrian Center, when the divided road ends turn left into the parking lot where you will see the parking lot, boat launch and restrooms. Please plan to arrive at 9:30 am to be relaxed and ready to launch by 10:00 am. All equipment (kayak, paddle, pfd) and instruction will be provided free for veterans (or bring your own) and their family members. Non Veterans are welcome to participate for a fee of $40.00. All funds support Team River Runner of West Palm Beach. Bring water and any desired snacks and wear shoes that can get wet. We will do a leisurely beginner friendly paddle of about 3.5 miles. By participating in this event, you agree to wear a properly fitted and fastened pfd (personal flotation device/life jacket) and hold TRR and trip leaders harmless for any injuries or damages that may occur.
