What we're about

URBEST Education Group (urbestedu.com and urbestedu.ca) was born on Sept.10th, 2018. "Mr.KK" (Keeve) rallied 4 other business professionals and management talents to set up the After School, with an aim to gather ambitious students on the right track to UBC (University of British Columbia) as well as their motivated parents.

Success English was successfully registered under the band of British Columbia as its sub brand name of URBEST. Before URBEST was established, the founder Mr.KK has been an activist (once an ESL instructor, a TV host and MC (emcee), a co-organizer, a co-chair of big-scaled events) in the ethnic Chinese community. On January 30, 2010, he joined the inauguration ceremony of GWFCC (Global Women Federations of Commerce of Canada) in the Radisson Hotel of Richmond, BC. The occasion was also tailored to raise funds for the UBC/SFU Bean Foundation for the purpose of funding a new elementary school in GuiZhou province in China. In the end, GWFCC managed to raise $10,000 dollars along with over 20 flight tickets for the volunteers. In the past two years, they have successfully raised $31,000.00 for the Richmond Hospital Foundation through the 1st and 2nd Mrs. Global Chinese Pageants for Richmond Hospital Foundation.

Success English continues to unite experience and prowess, to propel cooperation and communication, to share the latest information and business opportunities, and to guard rights, benefits and trust. With every advancing step, we are building a growing platform to house vast information and brilliant business
ideas; we are attracting incredible talents and facilitating connections between female professionals; as well, we are assisting new comers to either set up their own businesses or catch up with the ever-evolving job market.

In order to better serve our members and the community, we have 3 divisions: business development, membership, activities. Success English Corner hosts monthly luncheon meetings such as successful business how-to; hosts periodic domestic and overseas business field trips. We hope to bring positive efforts to a multi-lateral relationship between Canada and China on economic, cultural and commercial levels.

Joining hands with Success English Corner, let us communicate, create and care for global women. Let us believe that this is the platform for brighter development; this is the stage for year grand performance. www.urbestedu.com has more.

It is no doubt that we are living in such a Global Village of 7 billion (from Oct.31, 2011) in this century: The ORIENTAL seems to be the future for fortune with its incredibly growing population and increased purchasing power, as well as the historical root culture in comparisons of social status, and embodiments of higher and higher skyscrapers, and faster and faster public transportation systems. On the contrary, The WEST is still “built on wheels” at our conveniences, and their "Easy& Lazy” urban administration, wasting a whole lot of spaces, resources, energy andtime. Our revolutionary invention is a firmly standing bridge between the East and the West, a connector between the public transit and personal transporters in short and mid distance, more importantly, "a new foot" extended from your body to step in a brand new world!!! The global bicycle industry, including bicycles, parts and accessories, is estimated to have total retail sales in excess of $20 Billion. The bicycle manufacturing segment of the industry produces approximately 100 Million units per annum. (Source: Derby Cycle Corporation annual accounts, April 2008). Bicycle is now a $12.5 Billion dollar industry in North America, encompassing approximately 10% of the population - and it’s growing quickly, double from where it was three years ago. China is the world’s biggest producer of bicycles, 79 Million units in 2004, of which 51 Million were exported. The average unit price was only US$34.5. By contrast, the average unit price of Taiwan-made and Japanese-made bicycles last year was US$164.41 and US$150, respectively. (Source: ChinaBicycle Association, May 2005). The People’s Republic of China produces 55-60% of the world’s bicycles. India produces about 11%. 86% of the bicycles sold in the US & Canada are imports from China. Imports of Chinese bicycles into the EU attract dumping duties. On the other hand, similar to the above industry, luggage suitcase is another 18.72 Billion dollar industry worldwide. Globally, people currently spend $18 Billion on VAT Luggage Products. The global luggage market is growing with increasing population, changing travel trends and spending habits. The market is taking a turn towards brands and fashion products. China is one of the leading importers of business bags and cases but its imports have started declining from 2007. Canada is a leading market in exports of business bags and cases. Travel and tourism are the primary drivers of luggage sales and accordingly regional and global luggage sales correlate favourably to the relative trends in airline and other forms of travel. Another factor that has a substantial influence on the luggage market is changing preferences of consumers. Furthermore, trend analysts highlight customization as a key component for successful business concepts in the 21st Century. Combined, these factors point to a Customized Smart Case Bike as a successful product concept, one that would serve an increasing demand in the Canadian and worldwide marketplace. Ancient China has the FOUR great inventions well known worldwide. Modern Chinese can only be copycats? We are an exception. After having immigrated in Canada, we have tried to make a difference and contributed our community with a world vision. Today we have a PCT Patented TWO-WHEEL STEERABLE FOLDING TYPE LUGGAGE CARRIER (a.k.a. SMART CASE BIKE) here for you to join us as a TEAM (which stands for Together Everyone Achieves More in its new definition of such an acronym). We are seeking 680K CDN in exchange of 51% equity in our new joint venture!!! Here are your FAQs: 1) What’s this New Product SCB (Smart Case Bike)? A pullable personal transporter (PPT), which is environmental friendly, innovative and revolutionary for connecting to the public transit system directly and travelling in short and medium distance. This transportation means perfectly fits for highly congested metropolitan and its widely-spread residential areas for commuters, and therefore it also becomes a supplement to the lack of parking lots and bus runs in the public transit. Its moulded Solid Integratively Punched Aluminum Trunk guarantees its safety concern. Due to a bicycle design for the local traffic regulations, a helmet is required for riders in North America. We should always keep this in mind: this is a new practical tool, instead of those new toys like SEGWAY, TOYOTA’s Winglet, YIKEBIKE etc. 2) Is this new tool SAFE? Completely adhering to the traffic laws and CSA (Canadian Safety Association) regulations in various countries, we can definitely connect the variety of public transit systems conveniently and promptly, so that we can always move rapidly and more importantly, all legally on the roads, enter and exit properly different social occasions, also transport and store personal belongings. Meanwhile, we have been seeking solutions to protect our environment, save more energy and money. How are we going to do that? Do we have to leave it to the science fiction series Transformer III? Anyway, ours looks like an ordinary bike with handle bars in the front of the human body for safety reasons, and more importantly, the effective and efficient braking system on shafts of both wheels and no gyros like Segway whose boss died in an accident of a test drive recently, making it much safer than those with new shapes. 3) Official Name of the Product: A TWO-WHEEL STEERABLE FOLDING TYPE LUGGAGE CARRIER (Temporarily named as SMART CASE Bike, a.k.a. SCB for short.) 4) Why “Smart Case Bike”? a) Environmental Effects (in accordance with KYOTO Protocol, for reducing exhausted gas and the great consumption of gas worldwide) b) Energy-saving Effects (in accordance with KYOTO Protocol, to cut down driving and power consumptions) c) Industrial Effects (to create high-tech products and employment opportunities) d) Cost Effects (overseas procurement, to protect our IPR, Intellectual Property Rights, and save human labour costs) e) Economic Effects (to save money and time in congested downtown and rural areas) f) Effects (to promote environment ideology and enhance consciousness on health) 5) Major Transformable Forms of Usage: Pullable Suitcase with 90% storage space available b) Pedal Bicycle c) Electric Scooter 6) Business Concept and R&D Background by Logic: * The City plans lead to the WEST "built on wheels" * The countries "built on wheels" lead to the contention on oil * The contention on oil leads to the increase of military expenses * The increase of military expenses lead to the expansion of greed * The expansion of greed leads to recession * The recession also leads to the use of public transit * The faster exploration of oil leads to the growth of city populations * The increase of municipal population leads to the development of public transit * The faster exploration of the earth leads to the growing consciousness of environmental protection * The growing consciousness of environmental protection leads to the perfection of bicycle lanes in the cities * The fears of congested traffic, stolen bicycles and violating tickets for parking leads to the need of portable personal transporters * The needs of personal belongings and company portfolios lead to the transform of a portable personal transporter and a mobile storage 7) Extent of Activities to be carried out in BC: * According to the plan, we are to establish an entity in Richmond, BC, with R&D facilities like CNC machines, and a simple assembly line to put all components (semi products) procured from various factories in different provinces in China for the sake of Intellectual Protection and taking advantage of the Chinese resources. As required, we can mark “Assembled in Canada” on the product. 8) How to source raw materials or component parts? * First of all, we will have to raise funds and create a series of precise moulds as we have all executable drawings and measurement ready in hands. Then we will source out the parts to different OEM manufacturers in China directly from Canada. We can even purchase raw materials for them if their prices are over our budgets as we have board connections in the manufacturing industry in that country. When the semi components are ready, we will bring them in going through a reliable logistic company. 9) Location including size of the premises and property to be leased? * 11120 Bridgeport Road Richmond, BC V6X 1T2 Size: Around 12000 sq ft. Must be in the M-zone to save rents. About the Target Market This is a revolutionarily and precisely designed industrial product. There must be an innovational leader’s market with unlimited potential market shares and limited competition. We can say the market is unique without any competition in the world with the a widely acceptable worldwide value of environmental protection. We are the ChinaBridge (cyber name) to connect you to the largest manufacturer Mainland China, as the last and largest marketplace left in this century. Our initial market is of course in North America as Americans (priority) and Canadians, but the biggest target market are: France, Switzerland (Europe) and Japan and China (East Asia) where bicycles are MOST popular and public transit systems are better developed. We believe the winners are always initial investors and thus we need angel capitalists right away. If we become business partners in the foreseeable future, what you invest is just a low initial investment with expected and proven high returns (estimated 46-54% gross profit) within the first 2 years (estimated 1.3 years to break even). We will be having quick breaking even cost (w/ relevantly low risks); feasibility for second tier development for more business scopes: --- Development for various series and second generations --- Exploration and relevant development for mobile advertising market --- Exploration for economic immigrants seeking entries to Canada We believe the job dedicating to the promising environmental industry in West Canada as "a project of vital and lasting importance" for our target end users, who are usually "hard to reach" at the hidden corners and punching every penny is more MEANINGFUL. Recently, as a believer of continuing studies, regarded as a life-long journey to bring real-life experience into the learning environment, we conducted a survey in Vancouver’s latest Canada Line and feel more confident in what we have been doing in the past five years. More than 1/3 Canada Line passengers are carrying two bags and purses. One for personal, the other for portfolio. In the scenario where bicycle entry is prohibited such as office, shopping mall, hotel, customs, bus stop, train terminal, harbour, airport etc., this vehicle is served as a luggage case for transportation, which is not necessarily stored out of hands. Target demographic age group: 16-55 years old and the target demographic user group: highly educated environmentalists, white collars, college students, mobile advertisers, cyclists, patrol cyclists, police, mail men, delivery staff, tourists, shoppers, new immigrants, etc. etc. Welcome to the changing world!!! Our planet is changing every day. So is our life. So is our body. So are our feelings, our products, our tools. As a matter of fact, everything around us is changing everyday. Believe it or not? Change is eternal! Change is for a better fit and survival! Change is for a better tomorrow! The ONLY thing unchanged is our consistency and perseverance with efforts to create a better world of tomorrow!!! as President Obama said, “Change We Believe in”. Join us and make a difference from today? Our interviews by the largest ethnic Chinese media group in North America are follows for your reference:
