Anthony will question whether there’s a lack of identity in ConTech compared to, say, PropTech or FinTech, and discuss how product teams in construction may feel overlooked and faceless in the modern tech discourse. Can or should ConTech compare itself to other tech verticals? What if anything is holding ConTech back?

--- THE SPEAKER - ANTHONY BUCKLEY-THORP ---
Anthony is a Structural Engineer turned Product Manager who opted to trade designing skyscrapers for software. He began his career at Arup in London and Shanghai focusing on design automation and interoperability.

Seeing the potential for tech innovation in construction he joined the Google X spinout Flux.io, leading product after their pivot as Helix to acquisition. Anthony is now Chief Product Officer at Munich-based Building Radar, leveraging AI to transform the way modern building products are selected and specified in projects.
