Are you a software engineer, a network engineer, an IT technician, a web developer, a datacenter technician or perhaps a blockchain developer, a game maker or a cybersecurity pro ? Or perhaps you're the leader.
Are you tired of going to different networking events and just seeing people exchanging pitches and LinkedIn contacts ? No real connection or friendship ?
The vibe is "Tell me what you can do for me and I'll see if I stay in touch with you ..." .
That's why I've created this group. I want tech and IT people to get together regularly and have a good time. Get to know each other, have a laugh, form friendships. No sales pitches or business cards. Although you can still tell us what your business does, but the mentality of the group is different. It's focused on meaningful friendships and connection. Both men and women. Christians, Muslims, Budha and Pokemon worshippers are all welcome.
What you can expect from this group:
We get together 1x a week to begin with.
We go to different places. One day we can go for all day trip somewhere together. Another day we can crush somewhere in a nice restaurant and enjoy dinner together and another day we can go together to a tech event or we could go bowling. You may be asked personal questions. That's how we build connections as humans, right ?
This group is particularly suitable for those who don't have a family in London. Put end to "going to work and back and watch Netflix alone".
This group has only 3 real requirements:
- You must be in tech or IT space.
- Commitment (show up regularly for friendships to be formed).
- You must speak English.
