Join charities and digital specialists for the next Social Tech Meet - this time in Newcastle

Our Social Tech Meets bring the social sector together with the tech sector - to promote innovation, collaboration and digital transformation.

We bring together organisations with a social purpose and digital specialists to:

• Identify problems that could be solved with new technology
• Explore potential technology solutions
• Create networking opportunities for people in the social and digital sectors
• Bridge the digital divide and build new partnerships
• Share learning, resources and good practice

Event details
The venue is Proto in Gateshead. Come along for a drink and some pizza, and have a look around this amazing new centre for emerging technology in our region.

The event will run from 6 - 8.30pm and there will be plenty of time for networking.

Our speakers will include Seven Stories and MyCloudCoach

Sarah Cotton, creative producer at Seven Stories, the National Centre for Children’s Books who will be talking about how they have used technology to widen participation in the arts

Chris Nutman, Founder and CEO of MyCloudCoach, which provides teachers and students in less privileged communities with access to free educational materials, with the hope of creating a smarter world and a brighter future.
