What we’re about
Welcome tech people. We're an online and in-person (once COVID is no longer a danger) group, hosted by a software engineer for everyone in the software development world.
Our goal: Give everyone working in a software development context (including non-dev tech roles) the opportunity to find jobs, share ideas, ask questions, get feedback and connect with like-minded people.
The session is in English. The host speaks NL, EN and FR.
How we work:
1) Sessions are hosted by a software engineer. Not a company, not a salesteam, not recruiters.
2) It's an open/round table with strong focus on each individual. We expect everyone to engage, and support one another actively when it's not your turn. We are not the kind of group that hosts speaking events for you to sit quietly in the back and feel productive while not actually having done anything.
3) At most 5 people (+ organizer) are allowed in a session, to guarantee that everyone gets a focused opportunity to talk and ask questions.
4) Trying to sell to our members or in our sessions is NOT allowed. If you work in/for any sales-oriented role (incl. recruiters) and you believe a healthy/mutually beneficial relationship is possible with you, please contact the hosts before joining. If our members agree with your perspective/pitch, you can be given an opportunity to join us.
5) Respect for others is demanded.
6) No matter your age, gender, background or experience (or lack thereof), you are welcome.
