See all- Tech Waka Architecture Kata #1Ask Nicely Office - B:HIVE, Smales Farm , Auckland
Join us for an engaging and hands-on Architecture Kata session designed for technology leaders and software architects, who want to elevate their solution design and systems thinking skills.
The Architectural Katas were born out of a simple desire: software architects need a chance to practice being software architects, just as programmers need a chance to practice being programmers.
In this 90-minute collaborative challenge, you’ll work in small groups to tackle a fictional—but realistic—architecture problem. Together, you’ll explore trade-offs, discuss different approaches, and design a solution under time pressure—just like in real life. The session is facilitated, fast-paced, and focused on practical learning.
Why join?
- Learn from and with other senior technologists
- Improve your decision-making and architectural thinking
- Practice articulating and defending your design choices
