Topic of Main Talk - Ship Happens: OfferZen's Journey with AI
A lot of the narrative around generative AI is focused on vibe coding and early prototypes. But what does it look like when it's used with real products and legacy codebases that have been running for more than a decade? What impact does it truly have on the overall product lifecycle of established companies?
In this talk I'll give an honest behind-the-curtain view of how generative AI has impacted the way we do product management, design and delivery at OfferZen. Spoiler alert: it didn't immediately lead to major productivity improvements—there were lots of teething issues and learnings along the way. The reality is that AI is an amplifier of your existing practices, both good and bad. Come learn how to leverage it effectively without falling into the traps we discovered.
