Generative AI: developing human potential

Details

We ask that all attendees bring some change, for a donation on the night on entry. As part of our community efforts this year, we’re fundraising for local charities through 2024. This is your chance to support the local community and pizza/refreshments will still be provided, as a thank you for your contributions. Our goal is to donate £2 for every attendee, however any more than this will be received with huge thanks!

Talk 1:
Food is not a privilege!
Have you eaten today? How very fortunate! 8.5 million people are in food poverty in the UK.
What started out as an idea has developed into a small obsession…
“To end food poverty in our lifetime”
Come on a journey with me on how I’ve been challenging what and how we donate and hear about what I’ve learnt along the way. See a demonstration of Generative AI in action, and how you can all get involved in reducing hunger, wherever you live.

Talk 2:
Join us for a deep dive into the 2024 Technology Vision: Human by Design: How AI unleashes the next level of human potential.
The report examines how emerging technologies such as generative AI are becoming more human in their nature, and the impact they will have on humans and businesses in the next 5-10 years.

The Techvision trends explore how generative AI, spatial computing and body-sensing technologies have the potential to accelerate unprecedented change across industries and help organisations reinvent their businesses. The technologies can create a positive impact on business and society if used responsibly and fairly and leaders take a balanced “Human by Design” approach. The choices enterprise leaders make, and the values they uphold, are now reverberating far beyond profit margins and shareholder returns, making it more important than ever that enterprises innovate with purpose and build technologies that amplify, rather than overshadow, human potential.
