TechSisters (Women in Tech)

Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how engineers work, from coding and debugging to collaboration, productivity, and decision-making.
This event is an open discussion focused on how AI tools are affecting the day-to-day work of software engineers and technical professionals. We will share real experiences, questions, concerns, and insights about working alongside AI in real work environments.
Some example topics we can openly explore, such as:

• How AI is changing daily workflows and problem-solving
• Shifts in productivity expectations, job roles, and layoffs
• Skill relevance, learning curves, and career uncertainty
• The benefits AI brings, as well as the frustrations and risks
• Ethical, creative, and human considerations in technical work
• How people are keeping up with rapid change, or where they feel stuck and unsure how to navigate it

We will talk honestly about both the good and the bad of this progress, including whether you feel empowered, overwhelmed, curious, resistant, or somewhere in between.
The event will take place at Buckley’s, where food, coffee, and desserts are available to enjoy while we connect and talk.
All experience levels are welcome. No prep required. Just bring your perspective and an openness to conversation. Casual wear, relaxed setting.
