In a connected world, the most successful companies are those that can grow and expand in all different areas and markets. Building software to support the different languages and standards of the many regions will create a better relationship with your clients overall.

Adrian has been with HubSpot for just over a year. He has worked on adding support for localization to few different services. He spends most of his spare time finding unlistenable music and eating brunch.

Our choice of technologies and how we implement them are intrinsically tied to how we build and release software.
Modern product engineering is at its most effective when it can easily pivot to adapt to customer desires or business needs.
We'll explore how these two statements can work in tandem to help drive more adaptable and pragmatic system design.

Lorcan has been working at HubSpot for about four years. He helps build the feedback tool in their Service Hub product. He likes the challenges of building distributed integration tests and pretending he can run long distances. He dislikes checked exceptions and sweetcorn.

Even pretty basic data analysis, as well as more complex machine learning models, can add really nice scalable features to your product. This is great, but no one's really jumping up and down to be in charge of mitigating the risk involved with so much automation, so if you're the one who'll be up against the wall for creating skynet, maybe we should have a chat before the firing squad line up.

Maria is a data/computer person who's worked in bioinformatics, robotics, telematics, retail, security, and recruiting with some AI research thrown in for fun. She has blue hair, a pet rabbit, and should not be given both sugar and caffeine unless you want to talk very quickly about statistics.
