Tech Talk Augusta is back! Come hang out, learn something new, and connect with folks in the local tech and maker community.
This month we've got a great lineup of speakers covering everything from space tech to art-meets-science to local manufacturing:
🛰️ Kyle McCloud — Commercial Space, Commercial Synthetic Aperture Radar Imagery Kyle from Umbra Space will break down how commercial synthetic aperture radar imagery is changing the way we see the Earth from space.
🎨 Genevieve Lucas — Science, Art, and The Experimentation Phase Genevieve explores what happens when art and science collide. She'll walk us through her process creating animatronic sculptures for a recent solo show, how she used her computer science background to make it happen, and why experimenting across disciplines makes you better at all of them.
⚙️ Shawn Matt — Intro to Trusted Metal Shawn gives us the rundown on Trusted Metal — who they are, what they do, and the equipment capabilities behind their operation.
