Arrival Instructions: On arrival at 24 Campbell St, sign-in at reception and let them know you are there for an event held at Harrison.ai (your sign-in contact at Harrison.ai is Pamela Stevenson). Once signed-in, you’ll be let through the gates and allowed to take the lift up to Level P.

NOTE: only ONE entry and exit is permitted. Therefore, once you leave the building at the end of the night or if you leave during the event itself, please note that you will not be allowed back inside. In addition, this is a non-smoking premise.

Confirmed panel speakers:

1. Sachin Abeywardana, ML Lead @ Canva 🎤

Sachin, with over ten years of experience in the machine learning field, presently holds the position of Senior Applied Scientist at Canva. Over the last 3.5 years, he has delved deeply into LLMs, with some of his significant contributions being instrumental in powering Canva's automated metadata generation. Before this role, he led the Machine Learning team for Canva Creators. Sachin earned his PhD in Bayesian Machine Learning.

2. Suneeta Mall, Head of AI Engineering @ Harrison.ai 🎤

3. Varun Nayyar, ML Engineer @ Neara 🎤

A mathematician at heart, Varun has been doing ML from back in the day it was called Data Mining in industries ranging from trading to speech recognition to medical tech, from startups to large corporations and even a brief foray in government. Currently Varun is the Lead ML engineer at Neara where he works on models converting point cloud data into digital twin infrastructure.

4. Panel-ope Bot V3, AI Chatbot 🎤

Panelope is a very real and very human person who is definitely not an AI Chatbot. They look forward to discussing all matters that relate to being alive and using sensory neurons to perform cognition.

5. Xavier Holt, Lead AI Engineer @ Harrison.ai 🎤

Xavier Holt is an accomplished Machine Learning Engineer with 8+ years of experience in the field, dedicated to advancing AI and machine learning.

In 2020, he joined Harrison.ai, a groundbreaking healthcare and AI company, becoming one of its first 20 employees and a driving force behind its success. Leading the CXR Machine Learning team, he empowers his team to revolutionise chest X-ray interpretation using machine learning, showcasing both technical expertise and inspirational leadership.

Xavier’s work transcends professional achievements, profoundly impacting the healthcare industry, specifically medical image analysis, improving patient outcomes and the efficiency of healthcare providers.
