Tech Talk x Customers 1st

Customers 1st has developed the future solution for stores and service businesses. Their comprehensive POS system makes it easy and straightforward to sell and receive payments, gain an overview of inventory, case management, purchasing, and much more – all from one integrated platform.

With the goal of improving customer experience, they provide retailers the tools to handle orders, customers, and inventory across multiple sales channels and platforms.

This comes with an interesting set of challenges, many of which are applicable to web development in general. In this talk Customers 1st will cover:

• What does omnichannel mean?: How does it apply to single stores and retails chains
• Synchronization of product data sets: Overcoming the limitations of web applications when dealing with large datasets and frequently changing data without compromising availability or performance
• Real-time inventory synchronization: Building event-driven and queue-based integrations to third party solutions
• Order management: Enabling efficient handling of orders across stores
