Our understanding of the brain has been advanced by new technologies such as brain imaging, genetics and machine learning. Mike Claffey, a former researcher in neuroscience, will walk us through seminal studies that have leveraged these new technologies and discuss how questions about the brain are being answered today.

Mike Claffey has 18 years of experience in analytics and software development in corporate, academic and consulting environments. This includes 6 years of research in behavioral neuroscience with both human and animal models. Mike has a BS in Engineering from Northwestern University and an MA in Experimental Psychology from University of California San Diego.
