A New Era of Product Design with Claude and Figma
Details
The product design process has changed. Getting to a clickable prototype used to take hours of work in Figma. Claude Code and the newly released Claude Design environment compress that to minutes, turning intent into something interactive almost immediately. That speed jumpstarts the design process; you can now begin with a working prototype and refine from there.
Tyler Hathaway, Principal Product Designer at Cabin, is joining us to demonstrate this workflow. Instead of starting in Figma, Tyler uses Claude’s latest tools to build live, functional prototypes in minutes. He then uses the Figma MCP to bring those prototypes into Figma for refinement. It's a process that saves time, allows for greater exploration, and frees the designer to focus on the details that matter most.
Join us for a happy hour and a practical session as Tyler demonstrates how to move from a blank screen to a functional prototype and then back into Figma. We'll explore how this workflow allows designers to iterate quickly while maintaining the visual precision of Figma.
The Format:
- Rapid Prototyping with Claude: A live look at generating functional, interactive prototypes using Claude’s latest capabilities before opening Figma.
- The Figma MCP Handoff: A demonstration of bringing those prototypes into Figma for refinement.
- Designing Faster: A candid conversation on how this workflow accelerates the early stages of design without changing what makes great design great.
Agenda:
- 5:00 PM - Happy Hour, Pizza & Networking
- 5:30 PM - Session with Tyler
- 6:15 PM - Q&A and Discussion
