Speakers

Rina Wharton - Rina is Senior Accessibility Consultant and team-lead at AbilityNet. She is currently completing a degree in Computing. Rina utalises ubiquitous computing (technology that can occur using any device, in any location, and in any format) around her home. As an autistic person, Rina has given many talks on lived experience of Autism and has an incredible skill set to make hard to understand parts of the autistic experience easy for everyone to understand.

Ashley Peacock - Ashley has spent over a decade building technology and taking on design challenges for people who were believed to not be able to reach. For example building a reader to enable people with Posterior Cortical Atrophy, read again. She draws from her experience of having ADHD and Dyslexia and her huge Neurodivergent family to create and co-design products. With extensive research experience, she is passionate about co-creation and ensuring research and product are genuinely accessible, not just tick-box exercisers. Rob Brougham - Rob completed a degree in astrophysics, then worked in commercial leadership positions across the telecoms and technology sector nationally and internationally. Moving into digital health he gained expertise in physical and mental health care. With the creation of Braided Communications, Rob has been able to blend his experience in technology and communications with his passion for healthcare and astrophysics. Rob has long been a passionate advocate for workplace inclusivity and feels extremely fortunate to be part of a Neurodiverse founding team
