Volunteer info session - join us and teach in the Digital Career Program

The ReDI School Munich Spring Semester 2021 (from March till end of June) is around the corner.

We are looking for volunteers to share their knowledge within a non-formal educational setting. Support our growing student community, by facilitating and co-creating together over a three-month period.

Our courses range from digital literacy, intro to programming to more advanced work streams.

ABOUT US

ReDI School of Digital Integration Munich (https://www.redi-school.org/redimunich) is a non-profit digital school with an aim to support tech-interested newcomers and underserved communities in Munich. We offer our students high-quality training and the chance to collaborate with the start-up and digital industry.

Our aim is to provide our students with valuable digital skills and a strong network of tech leaders, students and alumni to help create new opportunities for all.

Teaching a course requires a time commitment of 4 to 8 hours weekly. You are able to volunteer 1-2 times per week, usually in the evening (19-21.00) or on Saturdays (10am to 2pm). Our classes take place in Munich and online and you will work in a team together with 5-6 others. The class size is approx. 15 students and classes are taught in English.
We start preparing for the semester in February with onboarding sessions during the evenings.

ReDI SCHOOL COURSES

In the Digital Career Program, we are looking for volunteer teachers for the following topics:

• Introduction to computer science
• Python 2 (intermediate python)
• Frontend development 1: HTML/CSS and JavaScript
• Frontend development 2: React
• Backend development (with python)
• Data Science
• Cloud computing
