Seeking to put a finger on the scale of technological power shifts for the common people
This group is intended to provide a meeting place for people who are seeing the current trend of technological innovation and the problems it is causing in our society. Our goal is to highlight and encourage growth of beneficial technologies while also taking steps to safeguard against the dangers and harm that they could bring in the future.
These dangers are evident in today's society from violence to targeted advertisements to corporate overreach into the daily lives of individuals.
Our meetups will focus on investigating the current reality through media and literature, real actions we can take to improve the situation in our local community, free education and help sessions, and social and recreational events as well
