Tech Wednesday

Tech Wednesday is our monthly Campus meet-up for Birmingham’s technological and entrepreneurial community. Each month we hear from a number of tech start-ups and individuals within the region, they present and demo innovative projects to the group for feedback and discussion. Please get in touch if you're interested in taking a speaker slot!

We meet at 5.30pm within Innovation Birmingham’s iCentrum building. You can find us in the atrium, however if you’re struggling to locate us our friendly reception staff will point you in the right direction. New faces are always welcome!

Talk 1: Intellectual Property in Software
James' talk will identify the intellectual property rights relevant to software as well as outline practical steps that businesses and their employees can take to protect those rights.

Talk 2:
In 2022, Rebecca started Be Noble Workshop CIC after being made redundant.
The course is designed to support people with experience of the Criminal justice system, substance misuse (Recovery), Domestic violence, care system and mental health. The course focuses on using these otherwise considered negative life experiences to identify transferable skills and people's USP. Giving them the confidence and tools to rebuild their lives. They use drama techniques to help develop communication and creativity, which allows participants to access the content.

Support Services:
The friendly Burley Law team are based on site and will be on hand during the pizza and social time to help with any IP, Commercial and Employment related legal queries.
