​Who is this for?

​Who is leading the session?

​The session is led by Dr. Stelios Sotiriadis, CEO of Warestack, Associate Professor and MSc Programme Director at Birkbeck, University of London. His expertise includes cloud computing, distributed systems, data engineering, and AI engineering.
​​Stelios holds a PhD from the University of Derby, completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Toronto, and has worked with Huawei, IBM, Autodesk, and several startups. Since 2018 he has taught at Birkbeck, Boston University and Notre Dame University and in 2021, co-founded Warestack.

​A hands-on introduction to building fully functional applications using GenAI tools.

​You will learn:

• Designing user interfaces with AI
• Auto-generating databases, APIs, and authentication
• ​Editing and improving app functionality using conversational updates
• Adding forms, dashboards, data tables, workflows, and logic
• ​Deploying and sharing your app instantly

​By the end of the session, you will have built your own AI-generated application.

​Requirements

​A laptop with Python (Windows, macOS, or Linux). ​A free Lovable account

​Optional: GitHub account (for exporting your app)
​If you don’t have a suitable laptop, you may use the lab computers.
