Join us for an enlightening and thought-provoking Strategy Chat with Warren Hatch (CEO of Good Judgment Inc.) and Charlie Oliver (CEO, Tech 2025) as they explore how companies can develop a workforce of employees who actively and substantively participate in business and technology forecasting to improve innovation initiatives, data-literacy, and decision-making.

The pandemic tested our individual and collective ability to predict the future in way ways we never imagine before COVID-19. Suddenly and overwhelmingly, we were faced with making a multitude of life-altering and life-threatening decisions based on known unknowns and unknown unknowns with data that was sometimes flawed.

And today, as companies struggle to redefine their culture and quickly digitize their organizations, business leaders need to make crucial decisions, in the shadows of a pandemic and other global forces that we can’t fully comprehend due to their complexity. How can companies improve business outcomes and employee engagement in the face of such staggering complexity and uncertainty?

One of the most critical skills every employee needs to succeed (and to help companies survive and innovate over the next five years) is: simulating and forecasting the future.

In its recent Future of Jobs Report 2020 The World Economic Forum notes that 50% of all employees will need reskilling by 2025 and lists ten essential skills of 2025. Forecasting skills aren’t mentioned.

Among other things, they will discuss human-computer collaboration in forecasting, simulation alternate realities, how an organization powered by “employee forecasters” can tremendously benefit company culture and business outcomes, strategies and best-practices for companies that want to develop forecasting skills in emloyees, what employees and job-seekers can do to develop and market forecasting skills on their own.
