About the speaker:

Marquita Hartman graduated from The Tech Academy's Software Development bootcamp in November of 2019. Since then she has been working as a SQL Developer for Computer Share.

Before her career in tech, Marquita worked as a dental assistant for 8 years. She will be discussing her journey from one career to another, along with the trials and tribulations of making a major career change.

Marquita's new position has her performing a wide variety of tasks, from production support to quality assurance, as well as working with a completely new set of technologies.
