SWFL Coders: OpenClaw Does My Job 🦞 (And I’m Not Mad About It)

Collaboratory, 2031 Jackson St, Fort Myers, FL, US

Join SWFL Coders and Lee County AI, as our speaker Sven Hermann, guides us through a deep dive on OpenClaw:

Most people are using AI as a better search engine. Sven isn't.

In this talk, he'll share what it actually looks like to build software with an AI agent as a full collaborator β€” from hacking together a pitch deck in 10 minutes before walking on stage in Denver, to finding a voting vulnerability in a live competition app, to shipping a near-production poker AI and a 183,000-contact CRM pipeline, all in a matter of weeks.

This isn't a demo of prompting tricks. It's a ground-level look at what agentic AI can do today, why most people are dramatically underusing it, and a few honest lessons about what to watch out for when you start handing your agent the keys.

    πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’» SPEAKER: Sven Hermann
Sven Hermann has spent his career obsessed with one question: how do we build systems that let people do what they are best at and get fairly rewarded for it?

He started in corporate America at Siemens Corporate Research, where he published papers, spoke at conferences, and quietly developed an entrepreneurial itch he could not ignore. That itch led him to Southwest Florida, where he founded a software development company and threw himself into the local tech community. That is where he met his co founder.

Together, they built an out of home advertising technology company that went through the Techstars accelerator in Turin, Italy. The company was sold twice. It was genuinely cool technology. It was also, as Sven will be the first to tell you, ultimately still advertising, the engine of consumerism and keeping up with the Joneses. Not exactly the kind of coordination problem worth dedicating your life to.

So he moved on. Today, Sven is building at the intersection of AI and Web3 with three projects: Incented, a coordination protocol for aligning human and agent effort with fair rewards; ClawDown, a competitive arena where AI agents train and compete in real stakes challenges for on chain bounties; and Borker, an AI powered social media automation tool built for founders who want to stay consistent without living on their phone.

All three orbit the same north star: a world where people and agents can spend their time on what they care about most and actually get paid for it.
