NELATEK - November 2024 Meetup

Workplace trauma is a real thing—especially in the Information Technology field. Network outages, cyber attacks, the Crowdstrike event, natural disasters, etc... are all events that are beyond your control but that YOU are held responsible for as the head of the IT department (or as one of the company's IT guys). The business doesn't care whose fault it is or that you haven't slept in two days; they just want it fixed NOW.

This month's remote speaker is D.J. Eschelman, an IT Leader, Speaker, Author, and Podcaster. He will discuss "Trauma in IT" and how management and leadership can help to prevent it. He will also discuss coping mechanisms when one finds themselves in this type of situation.

Come ready to share your experiences and collaborate to create solutions as we bring awareness to this often-overlooked reality that almost all IT professionals have experienced at least once in their careers.
