Chinese Culture 101: Dragon Boat Festival
Details
Are you a bit fed up with all the business webinars? Well, we are. In our upcoming Path2China webinar, we will shed some light on a culture-related topic for a change. As the renowned Dragon Boat Festival will be taking place next week in China, Sinja (TechCode) will take a look at this traditional and important festival:
- What is the historical background of the Dragon Boat Festival a.k.a. Dumpling Festival?
- What activities, music, clothing, and food are typical of the festival?
- Aside from China, where else in Asia is the Dragon Boat Festival celebrated? Are there regional differences?
- What role does the festival play among young people nowadays?
- What influence does the Dragon Boat Festival have on business-related matters in China?
- Which sectors benefit most from the festival?
- How will this year’s Dragon Boat Festival be different due to COVID-19?
After her presentation, Sinja will collect your questions and opinions. She will also ask for your ideas and topic suggestions for further culture-related Path2China webinars. Feel free to send your ideas and topic suggestions to sinja.hahn@techcode-germany.com.
