Welcome to Tech Connect Donostia, an international group for tech and business enthusiasts in Donostia-San Sebastian!
👋 How this group started: I am Alexandra (but please call me Sasha), French/Russian, and a Senior UX and Game Designer at an American EdTech startup. I’ve been living in Donostia for more than two years. While the city is lovely, I sometimes crave more mental stimulation around my favorite topics: tech and entrepreneurship, so I’ve created this group!
🧑 For whom? The group is open to anyone interested or working in tech/business/entrepreneurship/whatever related, including Product Designers, managers, sales representatives, investors, engineers, developers, product owners, digital nomads, etc.
Structure of the meetup:
The events provide a relaxed and informal environment for participants to connect with like-minded individuals, share ideas, and learn from each other while sipping a drink or a coffee. The formats vary between informal chats, guided conversations, speaker presentations, or a mix of things.
We'd love for you to come with ideas and willingness to facilitate sessions too sometime!

Join us on Thursday, June 19 at 7:00 PM for a fun and fast-paced Tech Connect Donostia meetup in collaboration with The Social Hub: the Vibe coding jam. Discover how to build apps super quickly, even if you're not a developer and have no technical skills!

- 7:15PM-7:25 PM - Challenge introduction
- 7:25 - 8:00 - AI VIBE APP BUILDING CHALLENGE 💃
- 8:00 - 8:15 - App showcase
- 8:15 - 9:30 - Hang out at the bar, 28 first people get a free drink!
We’ll use an app concept generator (or our own brains) to come up with ideas, then challenge ourselves to build an app in just 30 minutes using tools like Cursor, v0, Lovable, or other similar tools. Bring your laptop or pair up with someone, and let’s see what we can create under pressure!
Whether you’re new to design, coding or a seasoned pro, this session is about experimenting, learning, and having fun. No technical skills needed.
At the end, we’ll vote on the best or weirdest project 🏆
We’ll wrap up with a relaxed discussion on the experience and how tools like these could be useful in real workflows.
