Tall Tales From A Large Man

We're throwing in a twist for this meetup: Aaron Draplin of Draplin Design Co (http://www.draplin.com/gigs/) will be speaking at the University of Iowa School of Art on October 3rd and we should be there. Why see Aaron Draplin?

Um... #1 killer design portfolio (http://www.draplin.com/work/). Designed for incase, Burton, Coal headware, and Minus the Bear (http://www.draplin.com/1998/01/posters.html)... and a snowboard (http://www.draplin.com/1998/01/forum_snowboard.html). He also went to MCAD and started a design company. I mean, really. What other excuse is there? Oh yeah...worried about money? Cost: $0. (His other speaking engagements aren't usually so... free.)

I've also contacted the University and they're prepared to make sure we can all go. Be sure to RSVP so we can all have a seat.

FYI - doors actually open at 6:30pm, Aaron starts at 7pm.
