What we’re about
TechFems started in November 2023 and has quickly grown into a community of over 900 women+ (including trans and non-binary).
We are an inclusive community for (aspiring) tech women+ in Barcelona and the surrounding area. All our activities are in person in Barcelona. TechFems provides a safe space for women+ to empower each other and grow together.
In a sector where women+ are by far the minority, TechFems offers a warm welcome and a supportive community for women and women-identifying people, full of learning, networking, and social activities.
The community owns the initiative: TechFems is for women+, by women+. If you are a woman(+) working (or studying to work) in the tech sector, or simply interested in knowing more, join us!

☕️ TechFems Social: Networking in the Heart of Barcelona

- Afterwards, if the sun is out, we’ll take a short stroll to Palau de la Virreina to explore their latest free exhibitions and enjoy a bit of local culture (exhibitions are free of charge).

- English (many attendees also speak Spanish and other languages).

- This event is for women+ (including trans and non-binary people) of all backgrounds. Whether you’re a student, job seeker, or professional in tech, you’re welcome here!
- This gathering is family-friendly, so feel free to bring your little ones!

- Free to attend. Your first coffee or hot chocolate is on us!
