New year, new tech for good?

We're pleased to announce a special Tech for Good meetup with some fantastic speakers exploring the hot topics of 2019.

We’ll hear from Nesta about their future scoping work highlighting some trends and tech predictions, talk about the changing nature of tech for good and the funding ecosystem and hear key highlights from Ann Mei Chang’s newly released book Lean Impact.

Our speakers are:
Matt Stokes, Nesta
Matt is a Senior Researcher at innovation foundation Nesta, where he works on digital social innovation (DSI), tech for good and civic tech. Matt leads the EU-funded DSI4EU project (, which supports the growth of DSI in Europe through research, policy and practical support. Previously he worked on education, employment and economic inclusion at Nesta.

Cassie Robinson, Big Lottery Fund / The Point People / Tech for Good Global
Cassie is the Head of Digital Grant Making at the Big Lottery Fund, Co-founder of the Point People and a Fellow at the Institute of Innovation and Public Purpose. Previously she was Strategic Design Director at Doteveryone and Co-founder of Tech For Good Global.

Ann Mei Chang, Lean Impact
Ann Mei Chang is a leading advocate for social innovation and author of LEAN IMPACT: How to Innovate for Radically Greater Social Good. As Chief Innovation Officer at USAID, Ann Mei served as the first Executive Director of the US Global Development Lab, engaging the best practices for innovation from Silicon Valley to accelerate the impact and scale of solutions to the world’s most intractable challenges. She was previously the Chief Innovation Officer at Mercy Corps and served the US Department of State as Senior Advisor for Women and Technology in the Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues.
