Tech for Good vs. Coronavirus

Details
How is the tech for good community helping to #FlattenTheCurve? How can you get involved? When the dust settles, what will the world look like? How can the tech for good community help shape a better post-COVID19 world without entrenching solutionist tech as default option to addressing existential challenges from climate change to inequality?
To help make sense of what is happening, we’re bringing together a panel of tech for good changemakers who are coordinating and contributing to sharing resources and tools tackling the myriad of consequences as a result of this pandemic.
We’ll be joined by:
• Nathan Young - co-founder of the Coronavirus Tech Handbook
• Cat Ainsworth - Co-Founder of DOT PROJECT and collaborators of the Catalyst
• Mia Millman - TechForce19 Programme Associate
After the presentations we’ll have room to reflect, discuss and think about the future of tech for good post-COVID19 collectively with guided provocations.
We'll end with our usual community announcements slot, which is your chance to promote an ask or an offer to the community - be it a job ad, request for prototype testers, plea for volunteers or funding, offer of support, whatever within the realm of tech for good! If you’d like to share yours in advance with the organisers, email us at mail@techforgood.tv.
