Meetups are back in the walls of TechHub, and we’re pleased to welcome our special guest Lauris Liberts, co-founder of Printful, Startupvitamins, Vendon, Draugiem and Mapon, for a discussion on March 13th. Want to learn how to find your spot in the US trading scene? As a serial entrepreneur, Lauris knows what it takes to build a tech business, and he’s ready to reveal his side of a story about doing a business across the ocean. Lauris will display both failures and current endeavours, at the same time drawing you a picture of such practical issues as hiring, permits, and rental. Hence, don’t miss your chance to see how theory works in practice and vice versa. Think of questions and grab your portion of Lauris’ experience.

In the second part we will continue with TechHub Talent Pitch! This is the opportunity for startups to pitch for talent. Startups can apply to get 3 minutes to talk about their company, who are they looking for and why people should join. If you are looking for a startup job, or a founder looking for co-founders, you are welcome to present. If you want to pitch for talent, you have to apply to alise.lezdina@techhub.com and send a short presentation to show on screen, summarising your startup and who you are looking for. Deadline is 6 PM on March 12th. TechHub members have priority to pitch for talent if we have too many requests!

There will also be live Idea Pitch session! You will have 2 minutes to spread your ideas out in the crowd! Maybe you have an idea of the next Skype? This is where you start! Immediate crowd feedback accompanied with possible partners from the other meetup members! Sounds fun? It is fun!

We also offer free beer and there will be great networking with interesting people after the pitching part!
