Join Tech in Motion Philadelphia for Tech Talk: Startup vs Enterprise. Anyone who has worked in software development for any amount of time has probably heard of, or has maybe even been a participant in, the great enterprise vs startup debate. In this talk, we will explore development methodologies, stability, work autonomy and more in startup & enterprise level companies.

Chuck White is currently working through his own company, Battery Creative on a range of experience design projects. He was formerly a Senior Creative Director within Comcast’s Experience Design Team working on a range of Xfinity experiences from cross-platform entertainment applications to responsive sales and marketing web sites. Prior to Comcast, Chuck started his career in user experience at Burton Snowboards as Brand Manager, which included the overall strategy, content, and design of Burton’s web sites and other marketing communications.

Dan Folkman is currently the VP of Business Development at goPuff, where he focuses on corporate strategy and brand partnerships with companies such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, Hershey's, and the Philadelphia Flyers. Prior to goPuff, Dan spent 6+ years working with early-stage startups ranging from $50K-$5M in funding, serving as an operator, first hire, or consultant, focusing on partnerships, internal operations, business strategy, and more. He is fascinated by the intersection of emerging technology and large corporations and how to successfully bridge that gap.
goPuff is an on-demand convenience store delivering thousands of products from centrally located warehouses to customer's doorsteps in 30 minutes, 24/7, for a flat $1.95 delivery fee. goPuff is headquartered in Philadelphia and currently operating in 19 US markets.
