Chris MacLean, Director of IT Engineering, Tenzing

Chris has spent the past 19 years working with hosting and ecommerce, starting out as a Linux Sysadmin in Victoria, BC. He’s now the Director of IT Engineering @TenzingHosting building and managing Commerce hosting for merchants - both on and off the Cloud using AWS, Magento and Oracle Commerce.

Avrum Laurie, Director of Product Management, Freshbooks

Avrum joined the product team at Freshbooks in 2011 and works closely with designers and developers to create extraordinary experiences for Freshbooks’ 5 million small business customers, so they can spend less time managing their paperwork and more time on what they love to do. Hailing from Toronto, Avrum came to Freshbooks after graduating from the University of Toronto and working with Microsoft in Seattle.

Rohan Karamandi, Systems Engineer, Cisco Systems

Rohan is a Systems Engineer at Cisco Systems specialized in Datacenter technologies with keen interest in systems architecture. Prior to joining Cisco, he held a systems architecture position at a municipal government in Ontario, and possesses a degree in Information Technology specializing in Networking and Security.

Hany Fahim, Founder & CEO, VM Farms Inc.

Hany is the Founder and CEO of VM Farms Inc., a fully managed Operations-as-a-Service hosting provider. Hany founded VM Farms in 2009 with the vision of helping developers and companies bring their apps to the cloud. He has worked in the hosting industry for over a decade, and has a strong technical background and focus on client services.

Zunaid Khan, Director, Product, Hardboot Inc.

An accomplished digital professional with a proven track record in developing and building digital related businesses, Zunaid’s career history reflects extensive experience in product development and management, digital marketing, and business development.
