This month, we welcome Leo Cronin, VP and Chief Security Officer for Cincinnati Bell, who will speak about the Internet of Things (IoT) and the cyber security implications of living in a world where “everything” is connected. The IoT revolution is just getting started and the world will see explosive growth through the next decade in all categories of consumer electronics, transportation and lifestyle gadgetry designed to make our lives better and more productive. But with most nascent technological change, there most likely will be unforeseen risks to security and our privacy. The time to raise awareness and discuss these risks is now so we can become better educated consumers and business stewards.
