Bio:
René Schwietzke is a founder of Xceptance. He has served as Xceptance’s Managing Director since 2004 and plays a major role in shaping the company’s profile, including the continuous evaluation and development of our test tools and services. René holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Brandenburg University of Technology.
René : I have been working with Java since version 1.0. While working with and for two e-commerce and one quality assurance company, I gained a lot of insides into Java, performance tuning, and performance measurements. I learned a lot while transitioning larger applications from Java 1.4 to 1.5 and later from 1.7 to 1.8 to include but is not limited to JIT and GC techniques and changes in the Java Memory Model.
I regularly give training talks about programming in Java, GC, memory management, quality assurance, and testing.
