MEC Presents: Get it Together - Your Look, Your Advertising, Your Website!

Join us at the MEC on Tuesday, June 3 from 8:30am – 9:30am.

Program:

Learn how to develop your company identity and how to present yourself. Having a logo and using a variety of colors and fonts is important. Think about the things that represent your company, product and service. Everything you put out there reflects your business. You’ve spent a lot of time and money to get to this point – don’t skimp on how you present yourself at business meetings, local events, new customer pitches and in your advertising and promotions.

You will also learn that having a great looking website is also important to your business. There are several visually appealing websites out there on the web. But truth be told, these websites are not working. A working website is one that actually helps grow your revenue. The first step is to recognize what is broken. The obvious next step is to fix these issues. Your bottom line is on the line so don’t waste another minute relying on your broken website. We will look at:

  • Why your website is broken
  • Three easy steps to fix your website
  • Next steps you can take right away

Presenters: Steven Fisher & Jeff Elder

After receiving his BFA from Bowling Green State University in December 1993, Steven Fisher landed a job as a graphic designer with a large-format printing company outside Chicago. Feeling the need to grow as a designer, he later joined Invsco Marketing and Advertising, a boutique real estate agency in Chicago, where he worked his way up from graphic designer to art director.

While earning his MFA, Steven worked as an art director with an advertising agency in Charlotte, North Carolina. Steven has now started his own business, Cre8ive-Differences, LLC., to help small, independent, start-up and mid-size businesses build their own brand to have a better opportunity to achieve their goals.

Jeff Elder started his web journey back in the days of AOL and Netscape (how far we have come). Jeff’s interest in the web led him to teach himself how to design websites. Over the years Jeff stayed on top of the growth and advancement of web technology and Internet marketing.

Since founding Bald Head Creative in 2008, Jeff has helped oversee the transition to inbound marketing and now consults clients on how to
effectively grow their business through inbound marketing strategies,
purposeful design principles, and brand development.
