Title:
Architecting the Agentic Data Team: Automating Root Cause Analysis and Pipeline Resolution

Description:
Data pipeline failures are the "silent tax" on engineering productivity. At ZOE, we decided to stop just monitoring our failures and started fixing them—automatically. Meet PEDRO, our Pipeline Event Detection and Root-cause Operator.

In this talk, I’ll walk you through how we built an agentic workflow that consumes dbt errors, investigates the root cause across disparate data sources, and goes as far as opening a GitHub PR to fix the issue. Learn how we’re moving from "Time to Alert" to "Time to Resolution" and why I believe the future of data engineering isn't just managing pipelines, but architecting the agents that help our teams focus on real value.

Speaker 2 - TBC
