Biohacking Thursday: mushroom cultivation

Tomorrow we’ll learn the first stage of mushroom cultivation: we’ll prepare agar-based media for mycelium growth, make spore prints and try to clone grown mushrooms. Over the next one or two meetups we’ll proceed with the further steps of substrate preparation and inoculation, eventually attempting to grow various edible mushrooms in sealed bags.
