Front End Tech Talk: A beginner's guide to web mapping with Mapbox

Nadia Barbosa from MapBox will be walking us through the fun world of mapping!

This talk will cover how to:

• Source and manipulate your own map data
• Create a customized map style
• Display your map on your website and add interactivity

Attendees should have a basic knowledge of javascript used in front-end web development.

Laptops aren't required for the talk, but if you would like to do work on the sample project after, a laptop is needed. No hardware or software prerequisites other than a code editor and an up-to-date modern browser.
