πŸ’Ό Getting a Job During the Pandemic

Researching for the right fit, applying for ages, putting your best foot forward in interviews β€” getting a job is exhausting enough as it is, then 2020 throws a global pandemic into the mix. We're bringing together a panelist of Portland-area experts to discuss how COVID-19 has impacted your job search.

Tim Butler is a native of Portland and a Senior Technical Recruiter at New Relic, Inc. After spending 20 years in the insurance industry, he decided to make a career change and pursue a recruiting career. He's passionate about finding talented technical professionals and matching them up with new career opportunities.

Amanda Bolint is a Senior Technical Talent Manager at 52 Limited. She has been a recruiter in the technology space since 2011 and has reviewed and edited approximately 12,000 resumes and attended over 100 events in the past seven years. Being an introvert has not stopped her from being part therapist, sister, coach, cheerleader, editor, hand-holder, friend, networker, connector, and more.

Gigi Rosenberg is Portland's public speaking coach. She works with CEOs, nonprofit leaders and women in the rise for clients including Microsoft, Medical Teams International and the Seattle Foundation, among many others. She’s been a guest commentator on Oregon Public Radio and been published by Psychology Today and Publishers Weekly. She brings 25 years of experience in corporate communications, video production and storytelling. Her specialty is working with leaders and introverts (especially introverted leaders) to help them connect with their audiences with clarity, authority and warmth.
